The program opened with the singing of "O Canada" after which there was ah address by the president, Ounnar Selvig. After com munity singing by the audience there was a colorful march and Iolk dance by sixteen girls Irene Giske, Minnie Johnston, Agnes Wick, Inger Murvold, Elsie Johan son, Kitty Wick, Slgne Johnson, BJorne Skog, Nellie Anderson, Aus laug Skaland, Hanselne Fredheim, Kalma Thorstad, Eigrun Lovstad, Astrld Peterson, Anna Peterson and Magnhlld Storseth. A poem composed by Mr. Larsen was read by Mrs. Gunnar Selvig. Dave Hadland played a violin solo, accompanied by Peter Lien, selections by a double quartet consisting of Messrs. Selvig, Gunderson, Skog, Lien and Mesdames Dybhavn, Husoy, Selvlgj and Underdahl were much appre-j elated. London are unemployed and judges are without cases to try as a result of the biggest slump in the law courts since the 'eentury began. High cost of litigation and the effects of the 1931 trade depression are glyen as causes. Eminent counsel are said to be feeling the pinch and Judges who last year were overworked and facing long lists of unheard cases, are now up to date with their work. During and after the 1931 depression people were disinclined to litigate, the effect now being, fully felt. Strong comments have been made by some judges on high costs of trials.
