NO MONEY AVAILABLE Tt wns nninted out to the Chamber of Commerce Fri dav niirht that there was. at present no money available for loanine to those wishing to build but unable to fully finance the project. The forming of a local loan company to provide the funds was suggested oy commissioner Aider as a possible means of providing finances. A similar pniirsft was taken some vears ago when houses were nppdpd nnd there was no monev available. Aid was given in the building of about twenty houses and the people who invested their cash were rewarded by receiving aooui pirrVit trfpnt. annnallv for their money and when the company closed its books all the shareholders got all their money back. In other words it was a great success. NEED OF UNITY It is noticeable that when Vancouver wants something OGrtlthP liPnnlo sink all their nettv differences and get right after it.
