Prayer Meeting j Well Attended Interest Continues to be Shown ;In Campaign ;Kev. C. D. Clarke Is Speaker In spite of Inclement weather, there was a good sized congregation at the Salvation Army Citadel last night for the second of the series of meetings this week In connection with the observance of Universal Week of Prayer. Inspiration came -with the opening song which was followed by several voluntary prayers. Following the second song, Lieut Hilda Bridge read selected verses from Hebrews 11 and 12 after which Rev. C. D. Clarke, pastor of First United Church, spoke on -the topic of "Faith." Following up on "Repentance' which had been the' theme on Monday night, Mr. Clarke s'xplalned that the how penitent soul must have faith In the mercy of God. The next step was Christian faith which was spoken of as the launching of life towards the unseen future. "Faith Is a venture," continued the speaker. "No one lives without faith." Comparisons were drawn between the material and spiritual exercising of faith. After the -closing song, Rev: Canon W. F. Rushbrook of St. Peter's Anglican Church pronounced the benediction. W.
