SUCCUMBED HEREJ0DAY Mrs. John McMillan of Stewart Passes Away In Prince Rupert General Hospital After an illness of several months, Mrs. Elsie McMillan', wife of John P. McMillan, Canadian customs officer at Stewart, passed away at 4 o'clock this morning ln the Prince Rupert General Hospital. The husband himself has been a patient for some time In the hospital. The late Mrs. McMillan had been ailing since last fall when she went to Vancouver for surgical treatment. Returning north, she failed to show any permanent Improvement and last March entered hospital here and had been a patient ln the institution since that time. Born in England about forty- five years ago, Mrs. McMillan was married in Prince Rupert about twelve years ago. She lived at Ar-randale on the Naas River for a time before proceeding with her husband to Stewart. In addition to the widower, deceased leaves to mourn her loss a daughter, Irene, aged eleven, and a son, Angus, eight. The funeral will take place on Thursday afternoon from the cha pel of the B. C. Undertakers with Rev. Dr. J. W. Stevenson, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
