The late Rev. and Mrs. Marsh came to Terrace twenty-nine years ago, Mr. Marsh being the first missionary to come to the lower Skeena. At that time pioneer conditions prevailed and, when the railway construction was in progress. Mr. Marsh proved himself capable of meeting those rough times with great success. Those who remember him can attest to his amiable and broadminded char-actor, he was quite at ease in any sort of company and, as a conse- iquence, he did much good wont among the transient people of those times.
