Prince Rupert is getting plenty of publicity these days. Olof Han sons fish dinner for the cabinet f members some time ago at Ottawa was payed up. Then there was yours truly's radio broadcast! How many of you heard Budda on KFRC requesting any former Pnnte Rupert people to get in touch with him as there had been some inquiries at the studio for news of old timers from that part of British Columbia? Think of the people who, hearing the name for the first time, decided to look it up on the map, and then. their curiosity aroused, began to make some inquiries about the town with such a Royal name! Too bad television isn't here yet. and a view of Prince Rupert's gorgeous sunset over the harbor could have been flashed across the air waves. . . . Standing in line at ja show I heard a man talking about a town he visited some years ago .where the sidewalks were on jstilts and fish came when whistled for! And then he went on to regale his listener with the story of the "Battle ' of Kelly" Cut." How many left up there remember that? Bet he would find the town considerably changed if he should visit there now. Lovers' Lane and the Cinder Path make romantic reading, so hope hese names continue to live and by the way. why not call the new nlay ground Ulibet, after the little Princess who may some day rule the Empire?
