During the past week landings amounted to 306,000 pounds including 106,000 pounds from Canadian vessels and 200,000 pounds from Am erican. Prices during the week were at the highest level of the year. The top bid of the week for American fish was 13.6c and 8c which the Flint was paid for 9000 pounds and the low 9c and 7c which the Ma jestic received for 35,000 pounds. For Canadian fish the high Drlce of the week was 12.8c and 7c paid the covenant for 11.000 pounds and the low 9.1c and 7c received by the Atll for 6000 pounds. Having accompanied an experimental carload shipment of frozen salmon in the new type of overhead ice bunker refrigerator car, O. C. Young, mechanical engineer of the Prince Rupert Fisheries Experimental Station, is due to arrive in London, England, tomorrow or Monday aboard the steamer Beav- erhlll. Following the delivery of the fish, which was a shipment from the Canadian Fish and Cold Stor age Co. here, Mr. Young will visit the Low Temperature Reserch Sta tion at Cambridge, England, and the Torry Research Station at Aberdeen, Scotland, both institutions of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research of the British government.
