Todd of the Department of Classics of the University of British Columbia. Professor Todd graduated from Harvard .University as a Bachelor) of Arts with honors in 1906, winning his Doctor of Philosophy degree In classics In 1914. He taught at Walla Walla, Wash., at Whitman College and at Carlton College, Northfleld, Minn., before Joining the Faculty of Arts at University of British Columbia 18 years ago. In 1929-30 he returned to Harvard for two years of research and teaching and in 1923 he, travelled ertenslvely In Egypt, Greece and Italy. Professor Todd Is honorary president of the Varsity and Ex-Var- slty football clubs and was council I member of the Lower Mainland j Football Association in 1927-29, and of the B. C. Football Assocta-' tlon 1931-34. He Is a member of the American Philological Association.
