A SHIPLOAD OF PEOPLE Arrangements have been made for a shipload of people to yisjt Prince Kupert next summer and the Chamber of Cpmmerce has written extending them a welcome tq the city. Exidently they had heard that the people here were a hospitable people and they want to come and see how it is done. We shall be glad to meet them and show' them, what a live little city we have in this far northern, section of the Canadian Pacific coast. THAT DAYLIGHT FLIGHT The experimental daylight flight from iJqn.treal to Vancouver at the weekend was a great achievement in aviation. It showed that Canada is by no means behind the. rest of the world in air travel. Already the world had been rather astounded to learn that Canada carried more freight than any other country by the air route and this was almost immediately followed by the dqylight flight across the continent which closed two or three hours before cjarkness commenced, lion C. D. Howe is undoubtly very pleased at the achievement qf the department over which he presides and we are al( proud of our QWn flyers.
