A neat bit of marine rescue work was carried out about 6:30 Saturday evening among the boulders In front of Garden Island near the entrance to Metlakatla Passage when Lino Colussi of Georgetown risked his own boat Marjell to pick up Orme Stuart's Columbia River boat which had broken down with pump trouble and was perilously close to being swept ashore In the shoal during a storm which was on about that time. Colussi was coming in iron? Georgetown when the flashing of a light was seen, Indicating a boat was in distress. As the Marjell approached, It touched the bottqm itself but did not go fast aground. It was able to give a line to the distressed boat and towed it Into port On board with Orme Stuart was L H. Haworth. They had been on a hunting trip to Georgetown, having left there at noon Saturday. Webster, well known resident of many years' standing in Prince Rupert and former employee of the Canadian National Railways, took place this afternoon from the chapel of the B. C.
