KITKATLA FUNERALS Passing of Two Leading Citizer j Charles Wilson and fieorge .Mason Mourned KITKATLA, April 27: During the past week the village of Kit- katla mourned the passing of two well known and highly esteemed members of the community Charles Wilson, who died here, and George Mason, who parsed away at the -Prince Rupert Gen eral Hospital. The funeral of the former took place . last Friday while that of the latter was held Saturday. Iiev. G. II. Goodreed, Anglican missionary, officiated in each case with 'Jonathan Hill pre siding at the organ. There were large congregations and many floral tributes testified to ihe esteem in which deceased were held. Funeral arrangements were in the hands of the E'xcelaioi Club. Charles Wilson was thirty-eight years of age, having been born in this village in 1899; He leaves to mourn his loss a widow; two sons, Sidney Wilson, 17 years of jage, and Andrew, 12; -and a daughter, Edna, aged" eight. He is also survived by three brothers Herbert, Eddie and David Ridley and Ihree sisters, Mrs. Jon athan Hill of Kitkatla and Mrs. Lewis Clifton and Mrs. Edward Clifton at Hartley Bay. George Mason, who was C9 years of age, also having been born in Kitkatla, is survived by a widow, Mrs. Lila Clifton, and five sons and twq daughters.
