In Prince Rupert we are not educating our children to Roger W. Babson says that business conditions have just reached normal after seven years of crashing downwards and climbing slowly back. This does not mean that we are again up to 1929 which was an abnormal year but that we are back to the average of 1925, 1926 and possibly 1927. As a nation we are that but individually w'e may not be there. Some have slipped during the depression and others have slipped in the upward climb. Some communities will never recover. The depression gave some people time to get their second wind and renew their efforts, to them it meant only a resting period in preparation for renewed efforts. In Prince Rupert we are evidently back to normal. Some people are making money, some are losing and others again are about holding their own.
