Kitimaat Indian Loses His Life Fatality at Lee's Camp at Bishop nay Was of Accidental Nature, Police Are Advised Frederick Lee, who lost his life in an accident in Lee's logging camp at Bishop Bay down the coast, was a Kitimaat Indian, the provincial Police here were advised today. He had been employed at the Lee camp. No details of the fatality have been received other than that It was of accidental nature. Clarke, formerly a, member of the provincial police force at Prince Rupert. Is due back here within a few days, accompanied by Mrs. Clarke and family, to Join the city police force. He reliever. Constable Walter Middle-ton who, after several years service here, will leavo tomorrow night on the Prince John for Massett to which point he has been transferred. Constable Middleton, in going to Massett, succeeds Constable Ronald M. Stewart who Is retiring from the force on account of ill health but who will continue to reside at Massett. Constable Clarke Is coming here from Sechelt where he has been stationed recently. Since he left Prince Rupert some years ago he has been located at Alert Bay and elsewhere in the province. He started with the provincial police in 1921 at Quesnel under Staff Sergeant G. H. Greenwood, now city .shief here. Mrs. Middleton, wife of Constable Middleton, is at present visiting In Vancouver but will be back here on the Catala Sunday evening and will proceed to Massett on the next boat to the Islands after that.
