Special $83.00 Seal Cove Wins Over Westview Close Play in Gyro Basketball Lea rue Last Night In last night's game in the boy's division of the Gyro Basketball League, Seal Core beat Westview 16 to 13. it been a closely contested battle. The game was a fast and exciting affair with good teamwork on the part of Seal Cove gave Bus-sanich an opening and he scored twice to put his team in the lead. Westview rallied momentarily when ! Brown evened the score. The rest of this half was evenly contested but the accurate shooting of Bus-sanich and a penalty shot by Houston left the half time score 9 to 6 in favor of Seal Cove. Seal Cove opened the second half with backets by Bussanich and Barton but Westview attacked strongly and two baskets by Brown, one by Lee and two penalties by Blain gave them a bit of a lead. It looked like Westview's game when Blake was sent to the showers for four personals but Bussanich scored again and the Seal Cove defence held. Blain of Westview had a good -ha nee to make himself a hero; when he was awarded two penalty shots with a few seconds left to play but he missed them both and the game ended with Seal Cove still on the long end of the 19 to 16 score.
