Following the meeting a happy ..nt in the form of a post-nuptial .hower was held in honor of Mrs. e-A TPrnnk. formerly Miss A. Longworth, of the Terrace school staff. A beautifully decorated chest containing the many useful gifts was presented to the bride by Mrs. Elwood Brooks and Mrs. Frank. At the close of this most enjoyable afternoon. Mrs. Frank expressed hr heartfelt appreciation and ex tender! a warm welcome to those present to her future home at Kal- um. The Manse living room was decor ated with gladioli, sweet peas and gvpsophlla in shades of pink and nhite A similar color scheme was carried out in a tastefully arranged umbrella forming a canopy above the table with streamers extending to the table and finished with rosettes of sweet peas and fern. The hostesses for the occasion were Mrs. W. Klrkpatnck and Mrs. Adam Crisp. Mrs. E. T. Kenney and Mrs. Ivan Frank presided at the tea table while Mrs. Vernon Glass and Mts. J. A. Stout served the dainty refreshments. BURNS LAKE Miss Marguerite Van Tine and Merk Van Tine left on Thursdays train for a monurs vacation inp to Iowa and Dakota where they will visit relatives.
