Officers Assigned For Season Tourist Season Commencing: On a regularly scheduled voyage from Vancouver via the Queen Charlotte Islands, CNJl. steamer Prince John, with Capt. George Coles now In command for the summer, arrived in port at 8 o'clock this morning and will sail at 10:30 tomorrow night on her return south over the same route. Next voyage the Prince John will be replaced for the summer by the steamer Prince Charles with sailings from Prince Rupert and Vancouver on alternate Saturday nights instead of Fridays as at present. George Coles. Bringing north a Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce party, the steamer Prince Robert will be here on Monday morning next on her first Alaska cruise of the season. She will call again the following Sunday southbound. The Prince Robert will be operated on a schedule of fortnightly voyages during the summer months. Making her final voyage of the spring schedule to Alaska, C.P.R. steamer Princess Louise, Capt. S. K. Gray, arrived in port at 6:45 this morning from Skagway and other northern points and sailed at 9 a.m. for Vancouver. The vessel had on board seventy-nine passengers on arriving here. Eleven disembarked at this port while seven took passage for Vancouver from here. Three halibut boats landed catches totalling 94,000 pounds at Seattle yesterday as follows:. North, 39,000 pounds, Booth !Vc and 6Vc; Mlt-kof, 40,000, San Juan, 7 Vic and 63,4c; Lebanon, 15,000 pounds, Whiz, 7 lie and 6c.
