Unique Marine Event as Memory of Mercantile Marine Dead is Honored By G. A. HUNTER An event unique in marine affairs on the British Columbia coast took place on Prince Rupert Harbor Sunday morning with the holding of a "Lest We Forget" service in com memoration of members of the mercantile marine losing their lives at sea. Such services, sponsored by the "Lest We Forget" League, have been held for some time on the Atlantic Coast but this was the first ; occasion on which one had taken place on the Pacific Coast. The service was organized by Chief Petty Officer Instructor Bird of the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve and took place from , the Armour Salvage Co.'s tug Fearless, Capt. W. P. Armour, with Lieut. F. A. MacCallum D.S.C., R.N.V.R. retired In charge. The religious portion of the service was conducted by Rt. Rev..O. A.
