With her coach, Peter Vajda of Zurich, Switzerland, the Dominion tltleholder spent four hours above the alplands, skiing on fresh snow yet under the warmth of a summer sun. While Miss Wepsala concentrated on slalom and downhill running off a speedy half-mile eourse near the west shoulder of Athabaska, a party of American and Canadian skiers accompanying her enjoyed the smooth and rolling terrain of a huge basin above the glacier. The champion's training program calls for skiing every other day for a month, the itinerary includes Columbia Icefield, Mallgne and Tonquln.
