This
is
the
last
time
we
shall
have
the
opportunity
of
saying
anything
about
the
election.
By
the
time
the
paper
gets
out
tomorrow
the
voting
will
be
well
along
toward
completion.
It
will
be
too
late
then
to
reconsider.
There
are
four
candidates
in
the
field.
Our
guess
is
that
Hanson
will
get
a
good
plurality
and
probably
a
ma
jority
of
all
votes
cast.
We
are
inclined
to
think
the
C.C.
K
will
run
second
and
the
Conservative
third.
That,
we
J
believe,
is
an
unbiased
opinion
as
to
the
result.
We
wish
to
repeat
here
that
we
think
Hanson
has
served
the
constituency
well
and,
if
elected,
will
continue
to
do
so.
We
hear
from
all
quarters
that,
when
he
is
at
Ottawa,
he
treats
all
alike
Socialists,
Conservatives
or
Independents.
He
is'
careful
to
answer
their
communications
and
to
lay
before
the
proper
authorities
any
suggestions
they
may
have
to
make.
Repeating
again
what
we
have
said
before,
we
know
that
Mr.
Hanson
has
the
confidence
of
the
leaders
at
OttawaLiberal,
Conservatives
and
C.C.P.
and
especially
members
of
the
present
government,
all
of
whom
he
knows
nersonallv.
That

him
a
narticular
strength
and

him
to
be
useful
to
the
public.

He
is

greatest
factors
making
for
the
good
of
the
world
and
the
happiness
of
mankind.
We
have
nothing
to
say
against
any
other
candidate,
All
are,
so
far
as
we
know,
most
estimable
gentlemen
but
,ve
do
not
know
much
about
them.
The
Conservative
is"
from
Vancouver,
the
C.C.F.
from
New
Westminster
and
Frank
Morris
of
Terrace
does
not
seem
to
have
travelled
much
throughout
the
riding.
Not
many
have
had
the
opportunity
of
meeting
him.
Prince
Rupert
is
at
a
rather
critical
stage
of
development.
While
the
main
issue
is
the
war,
we
cannot
be
blind
to
our
own
interests
and
the
need
of
help
in
getting
on
our
feet
commercially.
Hanson
is
the
man
who
can
help
us
there
as
he
has
done
in
the
past.
These
are
the
reasons
whv
we
support
Olof
Hanson
and
why
we
urge
the
people
of
Skeona
district
to
do
the
same.
If
we
won't
help
ourselves
by
electing
the
right
man
we
cannot
expect
others
to
help
us.
