May 1. -Remembrance services were held at Kitsegukla at the end of the week for Reuben Wesley, sixteen-year-old native youth, who was drowned ln a canoe accident recently when the boat ln which he was crossing the Skeena River capsized. On Saturday there was a service at the home of Joseph Wesley, father of deceased, while on Sunday the Young People's Club conducted a service in the United Church. Both services drew large attendance. Members of the Kitsegukla Athletic Club and of the Young People's Club have been engaged for a week since the accident ln drawing the river but with no success In recovering the body. The operations are being continued and a reward has been offered by the family and friends. Reuben WeIey. one of the popular boys of Kitsegukla community, is widely mourned. Besides his father, he is survived by five brothers Edward, Mathla. Walter. Douglas and Herbert Wesley and a sister.
