Feb. 10. The Terrace Red Cross Association got down to business on Wednesday of last week with the first committee meeting of the New Year. President E. T. Ksn-ney was in the chair and business-included committee matters. An Interesting report was presented by the Junior Red Cross of which Brian Sessions Is president and Lorna Emlth, secretary-treasurer. The Junior Red Cross was organized at Terrace on October 11 last when talks were given by Mrs. Dud-ley..Litt!e,.Mf. Crocker and Mr. Ken-ney, The first effort was an auction sale of articles donated by the students of Terrace High School the proceeds being used for the purchase of materials of which some were also provided by the Senior Branch. Articles completed so far have been one scarf, two sweaters, three pairs of socks, patchwork quilt, mitts and other sweaters. The boys are working on several pieces of woodwork such as Ruitar, book table, medicine chest, hall tree and book shelf. Some of the material for these has been donated by the school board and cme ha- been Drovided bv the bovs themselves.
