Mrs. Morgan, mother of the bride, in a gown of black triple sheer crepe with gold and turquoise trim and long bishop sleeves with hat to match and wearing a corsage of 'cream rosebuds, and Mrs. Cripps, mother of the groom, wearing a gown of moss green triple sheer with gold sequin trim and Strath-more model hat and corsage of pink carnations, received the guests. Congratulations and best wishes were tendered the bridal couple who stood with their attendants before the fireplace, banked lanthemums with tall white tapers 'on the mantle. The toast to the bride was proposed by Dr. L. W. Kergin and , responded to by the groom, while George L. PASSES IN " iEVENING VANCOUVER Death has removed another of Prince Rupert's well known pioneers in the person of James Pos-tulo who passed away on Saturday in Vancouver where, after having spent a month In hospital here, he had been baken a few weeks ago for further treatment. Suffering from gangrene, a leg had been removed but even that proved ineffectual in the effort to save his life'. Mr. Postulo came to Prince Rupert in 1908 and was engaged in the hotel and restaurant business .for years. Among the hotels which at various times he owned and operated were the Grandview, Royal and St. Paul. R. S. Blackaby for another "Evening with the Mas iers.' From his extensive library of recorded music Mr. Blackaby presented a well selected and varied program to the . manifest enjoyment of the hearers. His brief, well-chosen remarks and Introductions before each selection were greatly appreciated and helped to add new facets of beauty to the lustre of many old favorite numbers. In a dramatic climax this symphony is played by a great i orchestra with Nils Asther, guest star, as condu:tor. The music ot "Tableau Russe" was composed by Barrymore who also plays parts of his own music on the piano in the course of the picture. The counterplot deals with Ayres losing his own sweetheart and being saved from mental dls-i aster by Barrymore.
