A beautiful wedding was solemnized yesterday afternoon in St. Peter's Church, Seal Cove, amid a lovely setting of pink crysanther mums, when Anne Elizabeth, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Boddie. became the bride of Doug-.as Coney Stevenson, son of B. C. Stevenson of Vancouver and the late Mrs. Stevenson, Canon W. F. Rushbrook officiating. The bride was beautiful in a floor length gown of pink net with full skirt and trim of gold braid and flowing veil of pink net fastened to the head with a wreath of orange blossoms. The wreath had been worn by her mother on her wedding day. She carried a shower bouquet of sweetheart roses and entered the church on the arm of her father by whom she was given in marriage. The Wedding March- was played by Mrs. C. J. Norrington at the organ. The matron of honor, Mrs. R. I en. ourueu, sister oi me Dnae, was charmaig in a gown of aqua marine brocaded taffeta, with primrose hat and carried a bouquet of yellow carnations. George L. Rorie was groomsman and L. M. Gordon and C. A. Kel-ett were ushers. During the signing of the register Mrs. T. Dixon sang 'Because Love You Dear, ' accompanied jy Mrs. Norrington. Following the wedding ceremony a reception was held at the home af the bride's parents on Ninth Avenue East. Mrs. Boddie, mother 3f the bride, in a gown of blue and white flowered chiffon with velvet hat to match and wearing a corsage of pink carnations, received the guests. L. M. Gordon was toastmaster. Canon Rushbrook proposed the toast to the bride whih was responded to by the groom and Col. J. W. Nicholls proposed the toast to the matron of honor to which the groomsman responded. The bride duly cut the beautiful three-tier wadding cake, which was centred on a table prettily decorated with lace cloth, pink tapers and pink and white carnations. The rooms were tastefully decorated for the occasion with pink crysanthemums. Those assisting were Mrs. G Kelscy, Mis. W. Skinner, Mrs Joy, Mrs. J. E. Morris, Mrs. G. of Rev. J. B.
