A very interesting lecture was given at the Fire Hall last evening to the members of the Auxiliary Fire Service of the local Air Raid Protection organization by Corporal Gray, .war gases Instructor of the Irish Fusiliers. He dealt with his subject in a very interesting and nractlcal' way and, at the conclusion, received a hearty invitation to continue his lecture next Tuesday evenlng'whlch he readily consented to do. Some discussion took place on the inefficiency of the general alarm system which was so apparent at the last practice and it was felt that an efficient alarm system was the first essential to success in A. R. 'P. services. A snappy coverall uniform and rubber boots were issued to each of the personnel at the close of the evening, these being supplied by the A.R.P. of Canada.
