The pictures followed a motor safari which started at Algiers, crossed the Sahara Desert, went through Nigeria, Kamerun, French Equatorial Africa, the Congo and ended up at Nairobi. The trip took six months' time and the pictures depicted some of the difficulties of travel, the native peoples and their customs, natural life and odd incidents. The past president, G. A. Hunter, expressed the appreciation of the club to Mr. Brind. Guests, besides Mr. Brind, were Ernest Meadows, Andrew MacDonald 'Terrace), Robert Sutherland and City Commissioner B. C.
