In spite of the seeming overwhelming power of the forces of evil in the world today, confident in the ultimate victory of the cause of good was expressed by Rev. A. F. MacSween at morning service in First Presbyterian Church yesterday. The pastor referred to God's promise to Abraham not to destroy Sodom even should only ten righteous persons be found among the wicked. Mr. MacSween saw an appalling disregard for the forces of good in the world today and stressed the importance of individual responsibility to live righteously and provide a leaven in the ommunMy which would bring salvation. The pastor saw the present conflict as but a phase of struggle not between nations or ways of living but between the forces of good and evil, Yesterday's congregation at First .Presbyterian Church noted the commencement of notable Improvements in the interior decor-jatlon of the church being carried out by volunteer labor. An increased Junior choir was aiso noted.
