AIR FORCE DANCE FINE Officers and men ol the Royal Canadian Air Force In the Prince Rupert area made Friday the Thirteenth a "lucky" and gala oc casion last night when they staged their dance of the year with the renowned R.C.AP. dance orchestra from Patricia Bay providing the music. Melodies sweet and melodies ho. were dispensed by Flight Sergeant Joe Mlcell and the thirteen piece orchestra and the capacity crowd took full advantage ol the pres nce of the visiting orchestra. The dance orchestra is part of the R.CAJ. band now touring coastal bases of the R.C.A.F. and comprises professional musicians from the ranks of Canada's leading dance organizations. Group Captain G. C. Gordon and Squadron Leader L. H. Brooks attended. Refreshments were served to the officers and men and their lady companions in the officers' and sergeants' messes during the in termission period at midnight. Announcement was made at the dance that the R.C-A.F. in Prlnc? Rupert -had subscribed 195 percent on the quota assigned to It in the recent Victory Loan- campaign.
