A highly successful bridge and whist drive was held at the Y.W. C.A. family lounge on Thursday afternoon by the Navy and R.OA.F. Women's Club. This Is the'club's first social affair and with such good attendance encouragement has been given for further drives toon. The funds Raised' will be used to buy comforts for the ser vices. Mrs. Martin, R.C.A.F., was convenor of the tea held at the I conclusion of the drive. Prizes were I; given In war savings stamps a patriotic gesture worthy to be fol lowed as an example.
