The American total so far this year is 413,000 pounds and the Canadian 692,400 pounds. The Canadian total is substantially larger than 246,000 pounds at the same date last year while the American aggregate Is down from 456,500 pounds. Prices showed a falling off from the record highs of the opening week but were still at a substantial level ranging from 16c and 14c to 19.4c and 17c for American fish and from 17c and 15c to 20.9c and 18c for Preparations for the salmon season continue.
