exists

jail
accommodation
at
the
city
lock-up
is
concerned,
at.

to
it
having
been
drawn
in
a
special
article
published
yesterday
in
the
Daily
News.
The
police
authorities
themselves
are
far
from
satisfied
and
the
matter
was
the
subjeet
of
a
special
conference
last
week
between
Commissioner
of
Police
T.
W.
S.
Parsons
and
Mayor
W.
M.
Watts.
.The
city
lock-up
was
none
too
good
to
meet
even
normal
requirements
of
the
old
community
here
as
is
was
before
the
war
boom.
Now,
with
increased
jail
population,
the
situation
has
become
accentuated
and
the
need
of
something
being
done
to
remedy
it
with
a
minimum
of
delay
is
apparent.
Jmproved
jail
accommodation
is
evidently
one
of
th
first
matters
that
will
have
to
receive
the
atten.
