Mix half can of condensed tomato soup with the meat loaf mixture, pour remaining soup on top or over the loaf before bakuis This adds flavor and color. 2. Spread meat loaf mixture In a square on heavy waxed paper, about 3a inch thick. Spread with a 2 inch layer of mashecf potatoes mixed with an equal amount of cooked peas. Roll up like a Jelly roll spread with catsup or roll in fine crumbs, and bake 45 minutes in a moderately hot (375 degree) oven. 3. spread half the meat loaf mixture- in the' pan, then spread with a layer of bread dressing, seasoned to taste. Top with a layer of the remaining meat mixture. Serve with hot gravy made from the drippings, for a meat-and-dressing meal. 4. Divide the meat loaf mixture In half and between two layers oi meat place a layer ot leftover or canned vegetables corn, hominy, , beans, carrots and serve with hot tomato sauce or brown gravy. 5. Place a layer of dried fruit- prunes, apricots, peaches or a mix turein the bottom of the loaf pan, then serve the finished loaf upside down with the fruit for garnish. Remember, wherf-the meat loar is cold It is good sliced between mustard-buttered slices of bread for a tasty lunch box, sandwich.
