Watt advised tbe iliy council last night that lots 21 and 22, block 39, section 7, formerly owned by the late W. M. Wright were now the property of George B. Casey. These lots "are In the sandpit on Conrad Street and complaint had been made as to a dangerous excavation in them. B, Martyn, area commandant, read at last night's meeting of the city council, took exception to any suggestion that Wartime Housing ould not be given water connections because military barracks were without water. Thomas Elliott expressed the opinion that too much time was being spent at the meeting. He pointed out that the city clerk was being paid overtime for her presence and that light was being used.
