Undertakers yesterday afternoon for the funeral of the late Asa Allen, for many years caretaker of the Legion Club premises here and prior to that a local fisherman, whose death had occurred earlier in the week In Ihe Prince Rupert General Hospital after a brief Illness. Rev. C. A. Wright, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiated and gave an impressive address In paying tribute to deceased. Mrs. James S. Black presided at the organ to accompany the singing of the hymn "Lead Kindly Light." " Interment was made in Falrvlew Cemetery, soldies' plot, where Mr. Wright again officiated. "The Last Post" was sounded by Bugler Wil liam Ranee. Pallbearers, comrades of deccas ed in the 102nd. Northern British Columbia Battalion r.i the first Great War, were Fred Hardy, C. L. Youngman, W.
