Beaton, senior Y.M.C.A. secretary for Canada and overseas and Alan Hurst who is area secretary for the southern British Columbia division. Major Beaton is a traveller of note, having flown the Atlantic several times since the war began. And it only seems yesterday since i we made such a fuss over Lindbergh's Atlantic flight. I suppose in another 17 years our children 'and grandchildren will be taking television as mfrch for granted as ;we now do transAtlantic flights. Movies will probably be third dimensional and even odorifous. There, Major Beaton, just see where the mere mention of your name has led me! On Thursday of this week there will be the regular weekly unit dance and next Friday at the Empress there will be a big naval dance held by the chiefs and petty officers of H.M.C.S. Chatham. This is the second of their monthly dances. Remember how we enjoyed the last one! Another "two-timer" will be next Monday night at the Empress when one of the local a dance.
