HELP TO SEND Though the campaign for A million dollars is only about half over,, the officers of the Canadian Aid to Russia Fund 'are all-early completing arrangements for a shipment of supplies to Russia. The Canadian Aid to Russia Fund is, already carrying out its aim to dispatch to Russia swiftly, the warm clothing, bedding and medical supplies s'o urgently needed there, The aim is to send ship after ship laden with necessaries for the Russian people. It is hard to have inward peace when the visions arise of Russia's women and children. .Those thinly clad, unfed people as they stand before their ruined homes, with the wind-swept, snow-laden forests and steppes to engulf them. Many have fallen and more will be lost, if we do not help. In th3 hospitals over there lie children, wounded and tortured. They need medicines, blankets, food. Men and women In Russian cities work long hours turning out munitions, planes, tanks, in unheated factories. One woman wrote: "It is so cold, , the metal burns our fingers." Yet they keep on working for our front.' They wrap newspapers about their chests and backs to keep the wind frpm cutting into them. Through deep snows and 'over icy roads, women on active service march smartly, cheer fully, to their posts their feet clad in running shoes. To those in Canada who have already subscribed to the Aid to Russia Fund, what a relief it is to know that at this minute, their money is speeding life-saving materials to our brave Russian comrades. To those who have not yet sent their donations, it is assured that their money Will go "Active" at once. Don't (felay sending in your subscription ! It is an investment in Victory. Don't delay organizing an event to raise money for the fund. This is' a life-saving service and delay withholds the means of life from Russian children and from their mothers and fathers. Yet these things that mean life to them are so easy for U3 to give! Make your contribution now to any of the local banks or newspapers or to accredited collectors. ALL OUR EFFORTS ARE NEEDED Help To Russia! You can best show, your admiration by making as substantial as possible your contribution to the Canadian Aid to Russia Fund.
