Canadian landings, so far this year, at an aggregate of 1,641,700 pounds, show a substantial increase over last year's 1,108,600 pounds while American landings for 1943 to date, at 1. 618,000 pounds , maat arrived Tuesday mornine and show a decrease almost as great as the Canadian increase when com-pred with 2,128,300 pounds a year ago. Prices for halibut continue steady at fancy levels. The top bid of the week for Canadian fish was 21.4c and 17c which the Dovre B. was paid for 21,000 pounds and the low 18.6c and 17c which the Hekla and Ruby L. received for 4,000 pounds in each case.
