The funeral service was held on Tuesday after noon last in Burns Lake United Church, Rev. Adam Crisp conducting the service. Interment was in Burns Lake Cemetery-Although roads were coated with J:e, making travelling conditions difficult, many mends and relatives from Palling and surrounding districts attended the service to pay their last respects. The pallbearers were John Long, Gust Anderson, Otto Miller, Carl Lindaas, Harry Larson and Carl Holmgren. Born in Norway in 1873, the late" Mrs. Orr came to the United States in her early years, later marrying John Orr in Albee, South Dakota, in 1894. Coming to Canada in 1912 they settled at Consort, Alberta, and later took over the old Mc- Kenna place near Burns Lake but for the last 17 years had been located at Palling. Deceased is sur vived by her husband, three sons, Elmer at Decker Lake, Harry of the Royal Canadian Artillery, Victoria, and Albert, at home; also six daughters, Mrs. George Llknes, Fabian, Alberta; Mrs. Carl Ostberg, Burns Lake; Agnes, at home;; Mrs. A. E. Anderson, Vancouver; Mrs. J. Noren, Heart Valley, Alberta; Mrs. Frank Mold, Exstew; and eleven grandchildren. Interment was In the Burns Lake Cemetery.
