The game opened at a fasi ' clip but the first .period remained scoreless as both goalies played superbly, backed by sound defence play. In edging out Co-ops, Macey's pulled up from the rear to make their winning point in the final two minutes of play. Co-op's lead at the end'of the first quarter was 14-5 and Macey's only managed to reduce it slightly I until near-the end of the game with several quick baskets. Arnsten of Macey's played an excellent game, running up seven points. High man, however, was Johnson of Co-op with 9, followed bv Haugan of Macey's with 8.
