B C LOCAL COUPLE WED IN ALBERTA Miss Pauline Laportc Becomes Bride of Gus Krause A marriage of local Interest took place at Legal, Alberta, on January 10, when Pauline La-porte of Prince Rupert, daughter of Mrs. P. Laporte of Legal and formerly of Prince Rupert, became the bride of Gus Krause, only son of Mrs. G. Krause, 928 Hays Cove Avenue, Prince Rupert. The ceremony was performed in the church rectory, Rev. Emlle Tessier officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her mother and wore a brocaded satin gown with three - qulrter length veil and halo head dress. She carried a bouquet of roses. Attending the bride, as matron of honor wa3 her sister, Mrs. Suzanne Sim, who wore a floor-length gown in blue teal with matching veil and corsage. Groomsman was Stanley Na deau. At a reception at the home of the bride's mother, a three -tier wedding cake was cut by the bride. Greeting the guests, Mrs Laporte wore a two-piece lilac dres3 with matching corsage and accessories.
