FEEL SLIGHTED, STILL PATIENT Chamber of Commerce Taking Further Steps to Have Popular Radio Programs Restored Here In furtherance or the so far fruitless campaign to have desired Canadian Broadcasting Cor poration programs restored to the transmissions from station CFPR of Prince Rupert, the Prince Rupert Chamber of Com merce decided last night to have Its radio committee seek co operation of the sponsors of such programs by asking them to make representations direct to the Canadian Broadcasting Cor poration. The Chamber was Informed that but one reply had been re-ceived to a series of telegrams which had been sent by various organizations in regard to the cutting off from tht local station of such popular programs as the Saturday evening hockey broadcast. The minister of transport and the CBC had Ignored the communications but an answer had been received toy the Kinsmen's Club from Hon. Al- phonse Fournier, minister of public works, who had indicated that negotiations for circuits were proceeding.
