'Power Company Dies at iMayo jCIinic John James Little, vice-president and general manager of the Northern B.C. Power Co. and a resident of Prince Rupert since 1910, passed away in Rochester, Minnesota at 8 o'clock Thursday morning, according to word reaching the city yesterday. He as 58 years old. In 111 health for the last several months, Mr. Little, accompanied, by his wife, left Prince Rupert a few weeks ago to re- j ceive surgical treatment at the Mayo clinic. The clubhouse was appropriately decorated for the occasion and the affair was well attended by employees' wives and chil dren. Entertainment consisted of games with music provided by Mary Postuk at the piano assist-' ed by the kiddies with their paper hats and horns. Candles, fruit and nuts were dlstribtted. The culminating point of the afternoon pfoved to be the arrival of Santa Claus who, despite his Scotch accent, proved tc be the Northern B.C. Power Co. Mr. Little was active in ness and club activities in the city and was Master of Tsimp-sean Masonic Lodge in 1933, and president of, the Prince Rupert Rctaiy Club in 1934. He also served a term as President of the Prince" Rupert Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his wife, the former MUs Mary Thompson, whom he married in 1919. There were no children. Mrs. Little is accompanying the body back to Tuesday night.
