WARRIOR IN THE TROPICS The two men clad in asbestos suits are members of the Canadian aircraft Warrior's flight deck fire-fighting team. They are fitted to walk right Into a blare, should one occur, during flying operations. A chain is attached to them so that they can be dragged out If things don't go too well and they can't get clear on their own steam. Along with other less fashionably dressed members of the team they are constantly at the stand-by on the flight deck while aircraft are in operation.
