Both are members of the Junior Chamber of Com- merce. 20 YEARS AGO August 15, 192 The American schooner Eureka which was badly damaged by fire in Prince Rupert dry dock, was taken onto the pontoons at the dry dock for repairs. The interior of the vessel was badly burned. An amalgamation of mining claims representing one of the largest deals in the history of the Smithers district was completed by Henry L. Messner. representing New York interests. The merger included a number of claims in the Babine mounialns. The Japanese seineboat Such-ona III, which went aground on Hammer Rocks, was towed to port for repairs. Her hull stove in, the vessel had settled until her decks were awash. Mrs. E. J.
