Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Dredge fruit with part of the flour. Mix and sift remaining flour, salt and baking powder, and add alternately with the liquid. Mix- in the floured Srult. Line a deep pan with greased paper and fill two-thirds full with the batter. Bake in a slow oven, 300 degrees F., for acout 1 nours. jviases V4 pounds, 7" x 7" cake.
