In late afternoon a ball game was played between the Terrace Tigers and an older team. The older team won but the competition was very keen, good plays being made by both sides and: the Terrace Tigers leading during the first innings of the game. In the evening, a dance was held by the Legion in the Odd fellows' Hall. A large crowd was in attendance; andlthev usual town orchestraj.provlded excel lent music. Ladles assistlne were Mrs. Anne Kirkaldy, Mrs. J. Har ris and Mrs. R. de Kergommeaux. Mr. Dubeau extended a special vote of thanks to all those who had donated either money or services to make the day a success. F. Morris had worked tpecially hard both during the day and beforehand making collections. The money left over is to be turned over to the Terrace Progress Club for the further improvement of the ball park.
