BROTHERHOOD AT SIMPSON Executive Session Transacts Business Preparatory t" Convention to He Held Soon Tentative plans wer"e made at an executive meeting of the' Native Brotherhood of British Columbia, held In Port Simpson this week, for the deferred annual B convention of the Brotherhood which will be held in the northern area, probably either1 at Prince Rupert or Port Simpson. It had been originally intended to hold the convention at Massett but, while the Invitation from there -was much appreciated and the general desire1 was, to go there, it was felt that euch circumstances as the late ness of the season, the time in volved and uncertainty of the weather, made It advisable to hold the meeting on the ntain- land". At the convention many matters of vital Importance to the native population will be taken up and final arrangements .will be made for the sending of a strong delegation, headed by. Rev. Peter Kelly, to Ottawa this spring when Parliament will consider Important revisions to the Indian Act.
