It was a fast, rough game which was distinguished by clean sportsmanship on both sides. In the- second Intermediate same Savoy overcame Co-op by a srorp or 34-31 and. in the Junior League opener, Watts and Nickerson took Sea Cadets 32-14, Macey's, in an all-out effort, employed every tactic available to, nip off Bo-Me-Hl'.s scoring. Actually, Co-op's defeat was a reversal of whai the fans expected early In the game for Savoy literally snatched victory In the last few minutes of the final quarter.
