With It, all his hay crop and farm implements were destroyed. It was only by the efforts of the Terrace volunteer fire brigade that the rest of the farm, including the house, was saved. . One fire-started in the afternoon and appeared to have been put out before the fire brigade arrived on the scene. Again about 7:15 the siren was sound- jed but this time It was too late to do anything. TJic fire brigade concentrated on saving the buildirfgs next to the barn. There was no other loss.
