A definite part of the schedule includes classes for Junior boys and junior girls to be held in the afternoon from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Junior girls will meet on Monday and Thursday afternoons and junior boys will meet on Tuesday and Friday afternoons. A full program 0f evening activities lias not been definitely outlined as yet but will be within the next few days. However on the coming Monday nlsht the intermediate boys' class will be held from 7 to 3:30 p.m. Following this class there will be an informal cvpning of volleyball for men over 18 years. TEEN AGE PLANS The Civic Centre staff has outlined the possibilities of organized Teen Age activities and the rooms that would be available for their use. The responsibilities and privileges of Intermediate members were enumerated. Following this. Hie teen age representatives (Vickie Meuffels, Frank James, Don llartwig and Rupert Holkcstad) then stated their ideas on the organization and operation of a teen club. It was pointed out that the membership in such a club should include all 'teen agers in town and not be restricted to students only. Until a permanent 'teen club Is formed, it was decided to equip and maintain the common lounge o the Civic Centre as a 'teen age games and club room. The representatives showed a fine spirit of co-operation and It is felt that a good start was made towards well organized 'teen activities. National War Memorial Drive which has an objective of $500,000 for the purpose of educating the children of casualties of World War II. The audience entered eagerly Into the spirit of a community singing period which was led by J. A. Teng during an Intermission between the films. The first film shown by George Peters depicted colorful local scenery and sport fishing in coastal waters. It was followed by films by Barney Eyolfson of local and Queen Charlotte Island scenes, and striking pictures of the halibut and salmon trolling fisheries, taken from boats on the fishing grounds.
