Into
the
last
few
weeks
or
months
of
the
crusade
against
the
Nazis,
our
Canadian
boys
overseas
are
pouring
every
ounce
of
their
strength.
We,
at
home,
in
our
daily
tasks,
can
do
no
less
Gallant
fighting
men
of
every
historic
Canadian
regiment
are
slugging
it
out
to
Victory
slugging,
slugging,
ever
deeper
into
German
strongholds.
But
until
the
white
flag
droops
over
blasted
Berlin
itself
not
for
one
moment
will
they
relax
or
slacken
their
efforts.
We,
too,
at
home
must
see
it
through
to
the
finish.
And
so,
proudly
and
thankfully,
Canadians
everywhere
welcome
the
opportunity
presented
by
the
new
Victory
Loan.
For
this,
more
than
ever,
is
indeed
a
VICTORY
Loan.
More
than
ever
every
last
one
of
us
will
want
to
play
our
part
in
the
triumph-will
want,
in
our
humble
way,
to
keep
slugging
it
out
to
the

Victory,
